As an educator, coach, social worker, counselor or other professional, who has devoted their career to shaping young minds, you know better than anyone the immediate need to access resources to better support their mental wellness and physically wellbeing.
The GLOW Program Leader and Theme guides provide step-by-step instructions on how to get a program started in your community. It is easily adaptable to offer virtually. Our virtual GLOW pilot program offered in November 2020 was a huge success.
Here is what the girls and parents had to say.
“Having a “secret” girls group that only she got to participate in (it wasn’t for her siblings or a family event)” Parent
“I like that it's a safe place to talk about things”
“I learnt it's ok to be you”
“Everything worked for me! I loved how we had the option to keep cameras on or off, same with speaking!”
“..that we could share about ourselves and are feelings“

What is GLOW?
The GLOW program was created to give every girl an opportunity to be strong, confident and healthy. The purpose of GLOW is to unite girls in a school/organization and provide them with the opportunity to be agents of change. The program inspires girls of all ethnic, socio-economic and cultural backgrounds to be prominent, influential leaders.
The GLOW program is designed for girls aged 7-14 and can be offered as a lunch time, after school, evening program and also virtually.
Each session begins with a GLOW Circle, facilitated by a GLOW Leader, to promote pre-teen/teen conversations related to one of our eight relevant themes. Girls learn how to set and work toward personal goals. A nutritional snack is provided each class. Different fitness activities each class exposes girls to a variety of healthy options.
